A few months ago, at my annual physical, I stepped on the clinic scale expecting some improvment.
When it settled I was shocked, I actually asked the nurse if it had been calibrated correctly.
She laughed and double-checked it.
It was right.
I can’t even describe the wave of emotion that hit me. Relief. Gratitude. Disbelief.
The nurse actually asked what I changed…
and my doctor paused when he saw my chart, looked at me and said "Whatever you are doing, don't stop"
That’s when everything clicked.
